Traction Issues with a 401 V8 AMC Gremlin

My Gremlin with a 401 V8 under hard acceleration.

My issues with traction have been serious. I lowered the back after this video and softened the rear suspension and that helped some. But I believe I will need to buy street/strip tires to cure my problem.
